Why are we doing this? (Please add your thoughts about 'why' we should do this!)

1. The current model for (a) launching social-change projects (b) mining local innovation is broken

2. We’re not waiting on somebody else to create a new model

3  Nobody else is doing it!

4. Why not?

5. Because Austin is a ideal place to test stuff out (Because....Fill in the blank about "Why Austin" here.)

6. We’re committed to inspiring innovation

7. We see energy moving in this direction here already.  We think we can aggregate the players and better show what’s working, what’s not, and save people time and $.  8. People want to contribute hands-on expertise to local innovative projects

9. Benefit to Austin is that this inspires/spurs other similar/like-minded Projects

10. We’re determined to make better use of the Citizen assets and resources here in Austin (Mentorship, access, resources of tools for startup biz)
